SamSung Galaxy S7 Review – Pros and Cons

General speaking, Samsung Galaxy S6 is a super product which has marked the strong enhancement of the Samsung as well as reaffirmed its position in the smartphone industry fierce competition today. And Samsung continues to bring the world of flagship models even better. That is the SamSung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge.

Design

Looking at the overall, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge design is almost similar to the S6. But when you experience in person, you realize that there are some positive changes. Typically, the two sides of the Galaxy S7 Edge are soft. In addition, the back of the mobile is designed like the Galaxy Note 5 with two sides are curved on the side to feel more comfortable grip.

With the Galaxy S7 Edge, you can grasp and use neatly in the palm of your hand without the annoying hand grip. The position of the physical keys includes the keys increasing and decreasing the volume or the power button as well as the position of the speakerphone and the MicroUSB port remaining unchanged. You will have a device that is seamless design because it is Samsung’s water-resistant features from the Galaxy S5. With the IP68 standard, the Galaxy S7 Edge can operate normally underwater at a depth of 1.5 meters in 30 minutes.

Screen

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a 5.5-inch Super Amoled display with 2K QHD 2560 x1440 resolution similar to the previous generation, with a pixel density of 543 PPI. The display is excellent with bright colors along with clear and high-definition detail. When using outdoors, you will feel very satisfied since the mobile is still very clear and not as glare as some of other smartphones in the market.

In addition, the Galaxy S7 Edge also has a feature that I feel very useful, which is Always On. With this one, you save a lot of time checking the time as well as taking messages since you do not need to turn it on and it is great not to waste too much battery of the S7.
Software

Currently, the Galaxy S7 Edge is running on the Android 6.0 operating system with the traditional TouchWiz interface. After a period of experience, I found that Samsung has not optimized the interface TouchWiz. The product sometimes gets a little lag when manipulating the scroll through the application page. This phenomenon is not much, but it is really a minus point which Samsung needs to fix.

You can quickly open the camera and shoot instantly by pressing the Home key twice. Such thing is a very great and useful feature that Samsung has taken up since the Galaxy S6 line. Additionally, the fingerprint sensor which is integrated into the Home key has a very fast and accurate identification. I highly appreciate the built-in Fingerprint Home key because it is very convenient, not like some other companies who put it on the back of the phone. Then every time you want to open the machine, you have to hold up quite inconvenient.
